Occupational lenses are lenses that are used for a particular purpose, such as computer work, hobbies, or work-related tasks. Occupational lenses are crafted to bring objects at a specific distance into sharp focus, for example: your computer screen, a fly-tying vise or an easel.
Dr. Sarlitt will work with your to determine whether your situation calls for single vision lenses, bifocal lenses or trifocal lenses. Next, Dr. Sarlitt will measure the distance at which you work and fabricate a specific lens for that particular task. This will help to alleviate the type of eyestrain that is so common in today's computer users and hobbyists.
