There is a myriad of lens types and materials to consider in eyeglass technology. Lens types include a variety of designs such as bifocals, trifocals, progressive lenses and specialized computer lenses. Materials may be glass, plastic, polycarbonate, or high index. Within each of these categories are hundreds of choices. It is our goal to help our patients choose the best lens design and material for their particular needs. We are very proud of the fact that our staff stays on top of the latest cutting edge information pertaining to new materials in both lens and frame design.
