  I've been going here since I was in second grade and I can't wait to bring my kids here some day too.  Their whole team is great and so easy to talk to.  The appointments are quick and thorough.  Dr Sarlitt has been a key reason why my mom can see after so many problems with her eyes.  He's been a great resource and would recommend him and his team to anyone looking for an Optometrist in Orange County. I also love that his son ended up going to Cal Poly.

  Amazing practice with excellent patient care.  Knowledgeable and experienced doctors who make you feel comfortable and take their time to answer your questions. I must have asked Dr. Vo twenty questions and he was so nice about answering them. He even went into his lunch time! The front staff is accommodating and super friendly. I've always been seen on time. I recommend this practice to all my friends!

  I've been seeing Dr. Sarlitt and staff for over 20 years for regular eye exams, reading glasses, sun glasses, and contact lenses. The office atmosphere is modern and professional with friendly, knowledgable, and patient staff. The eye exams are always fun and very thorough. Their selection of eyewear is regularly updated and very reasonably priced compared to outlet/chain stores except of course with Dr. Sarlitt and staff, I get expert personalized styling advice! Overall, I've been consistently impressed with the treatment I've received after all these years. I can't think of another service to where I've been a customer or patient for this long and remained happy. Dr. Sarlitt must be doing something right because the majority of all my friends in Irvine see him as well.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Sarlitt for many years and he is very knowledgeable. He always seems to have the latest equipment and he conducts a thorough examination. The staff there is friendly and they seem very experienced as well. The bearded optician guy who works there is highly skilled at adjusting and fixing glasses. The women in the front office were very kind and helped me select my glasses which I am very pleased with. I get compliments on my glasses all the time.

  Really, if I could give Dr. Sarlitt's Office 10 stars I would. I've been seeing Dr. Sarlitt for 15 YEARS, and am always pleased with the service. I actually signed up for Yelp because of how surprised I was when I saw the only review for Dr. Sarlitt and how terrible it was.

  Jackie has been delightful every time I've seen her, and I'm perplexed by the words of the reviewer above. Richard, Jackie, and the rest of the staff are more like friends than my optical staff, and I couldn't be more pleased with the high level of service I've received each and every time I enter the store (2-4 times per year).

  I would recommend Dr. Sarlitt over any other Optometrist I've experienced in my lifetime (and there's been many). He's extremely knowledge, conversational, and has a great ability to simplify things for the rest of us who aren't doctors.

  Anyway, that's my 2 cents on Dr. Sarlitt's Office. Now to get Yelping elsewhere...

  I came in for my eye exam per a friend who has been seeing Dr. Sarlitt for years, and brings his whole family.  Many of the clientel come from the nearby engineering companies and schools, but my friend also has friends from his temple that see the Dr. Sarlitt, and let me tell you, this practice sees well to do people.  The CEO of Ceradyne and Wet Seal come here as well as a former mayor of Irvine.  That's why I came, because if all these top notch citizens of Irvine trust their eyes to this guy, then I should give this eye place a crack.

  I had seen 5 eye doctors in the past 3 years, including Ophthalmologists and even 1 neurologist.  They all say i have high astigmatism, and that is the reasons for my headaches.  But wouldn't glasses fix the headache??  They fix astigmatism, right??  Anyhow, I met Dr. Sarlitt's other Doctor, a young guy, Dr. Vo.  This guy looks young, like my age, but it was like a light bulb went off and he threw some prism on me, and 1 week after wearing the glasses, my headaches went away!  He took the time to do a throrough eye exam from front to back and found that my thyroid issues were giving me eye turning problems.  Even if you can't get Dr. Sarlitt, he definitely has a knowledgable and up to date Dr. Vo working with him!  Experience and up to date is a winning combo!

  Go here for a full comprehensive eye exam, up to date with awesome diagnostic equipment.   I wish I came here years ago.  I hear they manage surgeries and icky eye diseases too.

  I have an overarching policy of not doing business with friends or family however I made an exception about ten years ago with Richard Sarlitt OD and it has turned out to be one of my better decisions.

  The quality of Doctor Sarlitt's work is beyond reproach.  When I somehow tore my retina a few years ago he was right there to guide me.  He not only referred me to a specialist he made sure I got to see that doctor late on a Friday evening.  I have complete confidence in his work and he is most professional.  I did see Doctor Vo once before and he too impressed me with his skill and knowledge.

  The office staff is always friendly and helpful.  To be honest I only purchase the glasses Jackie tells me to buy.  It is like having my own personal shopper.

  I have been going to Dr. Sarlitt for approximately 10 years and have always been very impressed by his thoughness and his ability to help me achieve excellent vision through a combination of contacts and glasses.

  While it is obvious his wife Jackie is very intelligent, and keeps things running smoothly, she has always been very pleasant to me and my famly.  My parents, both 100 years old, live with me.  I take them to Dr. Sarlitt also and they speak very highly of him.

  I have always felt that everyone in their office is very professional and pleasant.

  Since our eyesight is so precious, I consider myself very fortunate to have found a doctor so dedicated to giving me the best vision possible for me!

  Dr. Sarlitt is by far the best optometrist for hard contact lens.  I have been wearing hard / gas permeable lenses for over 30 years and have never had a better fitting.   Dr Sarlitt was very meticulous in his tests and measurements before ordering the lens.  He had me wear them for a week to evaluate the comfort and vision clarity before making the final adjustments for the perfect fit.  The office staff was also very friendly and helpful.

  Been seeing Dr. Sarlitt for years and I always feel well taken care of. But my last visit prompted me to write this review. I went in for a routine eye exam and had a great all around experience. Dr. Sarlitt and his wife Jackie (office manager) keep the place humming and fun. The rest of their staff follow suit and are all very friendly, honest, and professional. Always recommend my friends to Dr. Sarlitt!

  I am impressed with this optometry office! My family sees Dr. Vo on Fridays and we trust that because he is so good at what he does, our eyes have been thoroughly examined. The exam equipment is up to date and very clean. Appointments are pleasant and unhurried. All of our questions get answered and the staff is very patient with children.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Sarlitt's since I moved to OC ten years ago. When I orginally saw him, it was for contacts and glasses (I was a hair short of being legally blind). He helped me get the right prescription and a great fit for my hard contacts. I appreciated the help Jackie gave me in getting fitted for glasses--I have one of those broad bridges and wide-set eyes that are hard to fit. But best of all, Dr. Sarlitt walked me through the process of Lasik surgery two years ago. He encouraged me along the way, helping me get my eyes healthy in prep for and after the surgery. Now I only need glasses for driving at night! I highly recommend him and his staff.
