Dr. Sarlitt offers the latest types of both Soft contact lenses and Hard Gas Permeable contact lenses. The following is a brief description of our broad selection:
Toric Soft Contacts
Specially curved lenses for individuals who have Astigmatism, a condition in which the cornea (front surface of the eye) has an oval shape like an egg.
Bifocal Soft Contacts
Unique lenses used to help those over age 40 who are having difficulty focusing at both near and distance vision.
Silicon High Oxygen Permeable Contacts
Several new contacts such as CIBA's "Night and Day" and "O2 Optix", Acuvue's "Oasis" and "Acuvue Advanced", or Bausch and Lomb's "Purevision" represent a new generation of soft contacts. These new lenses allow much more oxygen to pass through the lens in order to keep the cornea and eye in a much healthier state, especially for those who sleep in their lenses.
"Synergy" Soft/Hard Contacts
Represents a new type of lens that has a hard center portion and a soft outer "skirt" for unusually sensitive eyes that require clear vision with a gas permeable lens but need the comfort of a soft lens (such as those who have Kerataconus)
Opaque and Translucent Contacts
Colored contact lenses that will bring out the natural color of your eyes or totally change them from one color to another (brown to blue, green, etc.). Learn more »
