The use of a slit lamp and keratometer is frequently used. The use of Slit lamp microscope is used to examine the front portion of your eyes, and a Keratometer is used to measure the curvature of you eyes. By utilizing special dyes with the Slit lamp, Dr. Sarlitt can determine both the quality and quantity of your tears. If tear production is insufficient or tear chemistry is poor, drops and procedures may enhance you chance of becoming a successful contact lens wearer. With this information, in combination with your prescriptive requirements, Dr. Sarlitt can recommend the best contacts for your needs.
